Omaha

The last weekend in May, the whole family took a trip to Omaha. My mom and dad, Heath, Jena, Brynn, Jerry, Me, and Izabell, all met Tonya, Joe, Joci, & Byron up there. We drove up Friday morning and left Sunday. It was very short. It was about a 4-5 hour trip for all of us. We went to the Children's Museum and to the Omaha Zoo. The kids had so much fun, some of them were crying on Sunday when we had to leave. Joci loved the gorillas and the meerkats. She kept saying, "Oh, he's so cute. He looks like my daddy, weeters." (which is their orange tabby cat, Peters...haha)
Byron loved the fire truck. He wouldn't get off.

The girls in the wagon, which was a brillant idea, by my sister. Byron, I believe was in the other one fast asleep.
At the Children's Museum, there was a play area were the kids could go and dress in costumes and perform a play or some kind of act. They just dressed up and were chasing each other around. It was very comical and a good place to sit and relaxed while they acted. Izabell wanted to dress up as a unicorn. I think it's alittle small, but she didn't mind.
At the Zoo, we brought some ice chests and lunch meet. We sat at some of the picnic areas and ate lunch. There were birds walking around that the kids were trying to feed. Instead of just throwing the food and letting the bird eat, they would throw it and then chase the bird to every spot he was eating. Naturally, the bird finally gave up and went away. I think I would too, with four monkeys chasing me. Byron was slowing behind all the girls.

The Children's Museum was pretty awesome. Jerry loved the science part. The kids like the air machine. Byron kept trying to catch the balls as they went up in the air. He was just alittle too short.
Izabell had fun on the swing pulley. She used those skinny arms and made her way to the top!!
We had the kids sit down and make a funny face before we left. Byron didn't like the idea of sitting too much. I think I got one with him in it that he sat still for about 2 secs.
